The city of Plauen has published the new qualified rent index for 2024, an indispensable tool for tenants, landlords and especially property owners. The Plauen 2024 rent index was compiled on the basis of a representative sample of non-price-controlled flats in the Plauen area. It is based on data collected from 4,000 households relevant to the rent index between August 2023 and December 2023 for the purpose of preparing the rent index.
The qualified rent index provides a detailed and legally recognised overview of local comparative rents. It helps to determine fair rents, avoid rental disputes and realistically assess the attractiveness of properties. It is particularly important for property owners to understand market trends and adjust the rental prices of their properties accordingly.
